Well there goes that Surprise!!

I was all excited about Ben's christmas present because I totally had him believing that he wasn't getting what I actually got him. I also think that I did a fantastic job of lying to him about not getting what he wanted. Is lying ok when it is for things like this? Anyways, we were at my mom's house on Sunday night picking up the dog. We were all downstairs talking about christmas and presents that we were thinking about getting people. My mom told Ben that she had no idea what to get him, and that thing that she already had bought she already bought a few years ago for him. My aunt's boyfriend said "no, you got him the race tickets" No one said one word. We all were super quiet, because we just didn't know what to say. I think I might have been saying not very nice words in my head about what had just been said. Yes, we have spent way to much money on ourselves this year, but for us it will be a christmas, anniversary, and ben's birthday present all wrapped into a five day stay in California. We are hoping to go to the LA temple, Warner Brothers (possibly), Santee Alley, and we will end our trip with another nascar race in California. I think the best part about the trip is that the Nascar race is on Ben's birthday. I know we will have alot of fun, but I just wish that the surprise wouldn't have been leaked out of the bag before christmas.
