Mission Call

My cousin Taylor received is mission call tonight. We were all pretty excited about the whole thing. We all went to my grandma's tonight at 5 (Ben and I were one of the last one's to get there.) I think the excitement got to all of us. As he was opening his call his dad begged for him to go somewhere "safe". As Taylor was reading the part that says..."You have been called to serve in the..." it got dead silent. He then began to read where he would be serving to himself and said out loud..."Holy Crap!!!" We all were freaking out asking him to tell us where he was going and after everyone calmed down just a little bit, he told us that he was going to the Brazil Salvador Mission. We all freaked. Screaming, yelling, and even a few tears. We all thought that he was going to go statewide, but we were dead wrong. He will leave for the Brazil MTC on January 21, 2009. The funniest part about him getting called to this mission is the fact that his really good friend Chance was also called to Brazil. They will both be taken to the airport on the 21st of January, and leave for the MTC together on the same airplane, and will be in the MTC together. Taylor is going to be a great missionary. We can't wait for him to write home and tell us all about this wonderful journey is going to embark on. Congratualtions Taylor, you will be great!!
