Family Home Evening-Dieter F. Uchtdorf and The Dark Knight

Ben and I have started Family Home Evening. We have decided that if we are not faithful in little things like FHE, Tithing, Scripture Study, Family Scripture Study, Personal Prayers, and family personal prayer. Then, how can we expect our future kids to be the same way? We can't?? So, we have taken up each very serisouly. Which in all reality I have seen the blessings pour in as a result, and it is absolutely amazing! Anywho, last night for Family Home Evening we decided that we were going to read about Dieter F. Uchtdorf in this months ensign. What an amazing man! I really didn't know much about him, and I am glad that Ben chose to read about this amazing new secound counselor in the First Presidency. Anywho, we decided that after reading that for our activity we were going to go and see Batman. I have to tell you all what Ben said... He turned to me and asked me if we were going to still go see the movie and I told him that we were he said, "you know President Uchtdorf is kind of like Batman because he flies." Very clever Ben, it is very true he is kind of like Batman, and from all of the pictures, and from what others have said the cesus is, is that he is very handsome for an older gentlemen, and so is Batman! Okay, onto Batman. Wow!! That is all I have to say I would give it 5 stars if I was a critic, but I am not therefore that is why I am writing it on the blog. I felt like they had an amazing cast that included...Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Michael Cane, Morgan Freeman and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Christian Bale plays Batman very well, and who knows if anyone will be able to play him. Ben has always said that Jack Nicholson was his favorite joker, but now he claims that Heath Ledger played joker ten times better. I would have to agree! What an amazing job he did. I cannot believe how much of that character he made me believe. Kudos to Heath! Anyways, if you haven't seen Batman yet, go and see it you won't be disappointed, I promise.

It's kind of funny to have the Dark Knight and President Uchtdorf in the same post. :)

Good for you and Ben for doing FHE!! I love learning more about our leaders and their roots.
