Dear Brighton,

Well, almost 6 weeks have past since you came into our family and I am so grateful that your here. Seeing you makes my days better. I love holding you and listening you talk to me. I love your smiles and the tongue game we play. If I have a rough day at work, seeing you makes all the worry go away. There are times I don't want to work and would rather spend it with you, mom and Cherokee. Every time you look at me, you give me a sense of confidence in telling me that I'll be a good dad. To be honest, I was a bit scared thinking to myself that I wasn't going to be. I have a lot of plans what we can do together. We are going to have so much fun. As much as I can't wait for you to grow up, it hurts me that it's going by so fast.
I love it when we have a Daddy night on Tuesday's while mom works at the theater. Before I was really scared and called mom about every little thing. Yesterday, I think i got the hang of it. Only called Mommy once. I was proud of myself.
I just want you to know how much I love you and that I will tell you that every day. You and mom are my life. I will do everything I can to make sure you two are ok, even if it means sacrificing certain things. Just know I'm always here for you and Love you.

Love,
Dad
