3rd day at Camp

President Hyer working with the girls. He helped teach the Orienteering activity to help the girls certify. Oh yeah, he sings the best "Ghost Chicken" song ever!

Sister Cox...I can't say enought about Sister Cox. She was awesome at camp, and helped me out more than anyone knows. She bonded very well with the girls and I was so glad that she got called as my assistant.

Miss Kelsey and Kylie...You two rock! Kylie laughs all of the time, and can always put a smile on my face and Miss Kelsey is someone I admire. She has been through alot in her little lifetime and she still comes out on top.
(Kylie is on the left and Kelsey is on the right)

TEAMWORK!!! There is no I in team. We had Unity Buidling games on Thursday and yes, the 6th ward rocked the games once again. This is a great group of girls!

This picture was taken right before the Campfire Program. I loved the shirts this year. They were colored to what year you were at camp. 1st year-yellow, 2nd year-green, 3rd year-pink, 4th year-orange, Youth Leaders-purple, and Leaders-blue. I thought that was way cool. But like I said I might be a little bias. These girls are amazing. There spirits are strong! I have loved serving with these young women for the last couple of years at camp. This year was definitely a new experience and one that I don't think anyone will forget. I love each one of these girls to death. I told them last year that I now know how a mom feels towards her own children because I feel that same love for each of these girl's. Now Obviously since I don't have my own children yet, I don't know but I do know that this love I have for each one of these girl's is unconditional and never ending. I told them whether they were making right or wrong choices I would still love them, and it is true, I would. These girls have changed my life, and I thank my heavenly father everyday for the opportunity I get to serve with the youth of our ward. Once again girls, thanks for making camp great. I love you!

I do agree with you -- those girls are THE best YW ever!!! I got a little sad looking through those pics -- I missed camp this year! It's the first time in 4 years I wasn't up there with them at all!!! You are an AWESOME camp director, you make camp so fun for the girls! I know they all love you just as much as you love them!
