The Wonderful Weekend!!!!

Ben has been unbelievably busy with scouts this month, and I was prepared for that so I figured that I wanted to have some fun of my own. He loves scouting and enjoys each weekend he is with the boys. So, I decided to go and see Emily (She was one of my Young Woman) at BYU! I headed down at about 3:00 to miss traffic, and I was glad that I made it to Provo before rush hour it. Emily was asleep when I showed up so I got to wake her up from her nice slumber (sorry, Em) Anywho, we talked up a storm, walked to the bookstore...P.S. if you want to lose some weight go to BYU and walk everywhere...you are bound to get skinny! We then decided to go and get something to eat, and we watched about three movies. We also watched the DVD from the Trek in 2007. What an amazing experience the youth had. Emily cried a few tears, I kind of felt bad about that. I am glad that she can look back on that hard, exhausting, and exciting experience and still feel the spirit. We decided that we wanted to make a cake at about 12:30 am in the morning, but were pretty much falling asleep around 2:00 am so we didn't get around to frosting or decorating the cake. The following morning we both decided that we needed to frost and decorate the cake with some chocolate frosting, and all of the blue froot loops we could find for the BYU we would put on the cake. There is nothing like chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, and blue frootloops to make up a cake. We headed to the game, and had a ton of fun, and got a lot of sun. We had some good laughs during the game...As we watched UCLA totally miss a field goal (I think that we both agree that the funniest part was when UCLA had a clear shot to make a field goal and totally missed!) Both Emily and I were cheering so loud when that happened and then just started busting laughing. It was so funny! After BYU killed UCLA we decided to go home and celebrate the win by eating our yummy chocolate cake. At about 6:00 I decided that might need to head home. Thanks for the great weekend Emily, I really did have a good time, and I can't wait to do it again! While I was driving home from Provo I got a text from Ben that said...Oh yeah, happy anniversary. That's right, we have been married 2 years and 8 months. I normally am the one who reminds him, but this time he was the one who reminded me. I think he gets annoyed of all of the texts that I send him on all of those anniversaries that really aren't all that important. So, for our anniversary we decided that we would spend it away from each other...Ben with the scouts up at the fall camp-o-ree and Me spending time with Emily down at Provo. I got a kiss from Ben when he came home from a scout dinner, and we played Mario Kart on the Wii until about 12:00 and then it was off to bed, because we both were falling asleep. It was a good weekend, and I know that we both had a good weekend even though we weren't together. Oh yeah, and our camera is broken so I don't have any pictures. Sorry!
