My Wife!!!

This post is way long over due. I know every guy calls themselves the luckiest guy in the world, but I don't believe in luck. I can say that I am truely blessed.
When I first saw KoriAnn, my hometeaching companion and I had an appointment to teach her roommate Jill. KoriAnn was the one who answered the door. I don't believe in love at first site but I was like, "holy cow is she hott!!!"
Anyways, we home taught her roommate and Jill asked me to say the closing prayer and asked me to pray for KoriAnn because she was having a hrad time with her job. Well, during the prayer,I totally forgot her name and the only way I remembered it was by the name Coriantumr, the bad Lamanite leader. So my companion and I left and about 15 minutes after we left, Jill called us and asked us over that weekend for a Napoleon Dynamite Movie Night. So we went over and KoriAnn and her other roommate Jessi were on the computer looking at the NASCAR driver Jamie McMurray. So I went over, being a NASCAR fan myself trying to talk to KoriAnn. She didn't say one word to me and then during the movie, said she was going to be because she had to work the next morning.
So feeling a little bummed out I went over again, invited by Jill of course, and hung out. Again KoriAnn doesn't say a word to me. I said to myself, well, her loss. So a couple days later, I was at our singles branch family home evening and I get a call from KoriAnn. Suprised as I was she asked me what I was doing the next day and if I wanted to go with her. I had to go to Denver for a job walkthrough and couldn't make it. But, as sly as I was, asked her what she was doing that Friday. She said she had to work and I told her to get it off. She said she couldn't and I said don't make me beg. So i drove over to her house, got on my knees on her porch and begged her to go out with me. She said she would try and eventually got it off. For those of you who know me, I don't like sea food, especually fish, so on our first date, we went to Joes Crab Shack with my friend Trapper and his date. My hamburger tasted like fish and I thought I was going to throw up. Anyways, After dinner we went bowling and she kicked my butt. I was so embarassed. So thats when it all started.
So after hanging out, I felt it was time to take her out just me and her. She told me how much she loves Ford's so I asked my dad if I could take his 2004 Ford F-250 Diesel truck for this date. He let me and I bought he a single rose and got to her house and she wasn't there. I called her and asked here where she was. Her Uncle Jan passed away and she was at her grandmothers with her family. She came home and got ready, and I told her that she didn't have to go and I understood. She told me that her family told her to go. So I felt like it was going to be an off night. So we go to dinner and then went bowling with my friend Trapper again. That night, we were on her couch in the living room and I asked her if I could kiss her. She said yes. I couldn't sleep that night.
So, fast forwarding to August 17, 2005 I got a special package in the mail. It was her engagement ring. Two weeks earlier, we were in Brigham at their family party and I took her dad aside and asked him if i could marry his daughter. He said yes right off the bat. The week before that, me, my dad, my brother Tyler and my Grandpa Lee went to Alaska and when I came home, I kept teasing her that girls don't wear wedding rings, only fish hooks in their mouths and if i was going to marry her, that's what she would get. So, the ring came and I was so excited. I got an old ring box and put a fish hook in it and bought her favorite movie Father of the Bride. She had a crappy day and I told her that I had a suprise for her and asked her if she wanted it at the Salt Lake temple or the Bountiful temple. She said Salt Lake because it was closer, but I said we were going to Bountiful, her favorite temple. So we get up by the water fountain and I gave here the bag with the movie in it and while she opened it I pulled out the ring box with the fish hook in it. She opened it up, expecting a ring inside, and found the fish hook. Disappointment was all over her face and while we were talking, I took the ring out of my pocket and asked if she would like to trade it in. Ofcourse she said yes and I got down on my knee and held up the ring and asked her to marry me. She imediatly put her hands in her face. Other people were comming around, I am still on my knee and she didn't say a word for a good 2 minutes. So i get up off my knee held her and told her how much I loved her and wanted to be with her. She then said yes and I put the ring on her finger. Finally January 13th came around, Friday the 13th might I add, and we were sealed in that very same temple.
Hun, words cannot describe how much I love you. Eternity together started when you opened that door. Thanks for being my best friend, an open ear when I need you and a crutch when I am low. I can't and don't want to imagine my life with out you. You are the best thing that has happened to me in my life. Just know that always and forever, that I love you.
