6 month letter to my little guy!

Brighton,

Here we are bud, at 6 months old. Mom and Dad can't believe that you are already that old. You have brought SO much Joy to our lives. You somehow make everything ok. You are the reason we live. We sure do love you. We love seeing your face light up when Daddy comes home, we love that you are ok with Cherokee being in our home. She loves you too, Brighton. She missed you a ton when you and mommy were gone to Ohio. We just got back from a 6 day trip to Ohio. The main reason we went was because mommy's old roommate was getting married, and mommy really wanted to go, an added bonus was that great grandma schmardebeck is serving her mission in Ohio and we wanted to go out and surprise her. You hadn't met her yet, but you lit up when you saw her. It was the cutest little thing I had ever seen. Grandma couldn't get enough of you. Next time you see her I am sure you will be walking.

Last night mommy cried to daddy. I can't believe you are 6 months old. You have grown so much, and your little personality is coming out. We just love it.

I wanted to jot somethings down that you like as of right now because I am sure in just a few short months you might not like them anymore.

Your routine is pretty solid. You like your sleep just like your mom. Although, when we went to Ohio your routine was very messed up and you didn't like it much. Although, you slept very well at night.

You sleep through the night, you like your binkie, you love to be swaddled to go to sleep, you cry and rub your eyes (that is mom and dad's cue to get you to bed), you know when a bottle is made for you...you reach up for it like it is gold. You like to eat oatmeal and a fruit in the morning, and at night you have rice and a vegetable. Right now, you mainly like green beans and peas. Mommy wants to go and get carrots and see what you think about those. You do not like turkey and turkey broth. Your face was priceless the first time we gave that to you. Mommy knew right then that you weren't liking that so I vowed never to feed it to you again. You like to eat your toes, you like to put anything that is cold in your mouth, you have grown so much and we can't wait for the next stage in life.

You love your daddy and love it when he comes home from work, your grandparents, aunts, and uncles can't get enough of you. We sure do love you Brighton. Happy 6 months!
